Because the State of
Mississippi does not currently license those individuals who
would choose to work in the field of private investigations,
our members have formed the Mississippi Professional
Investigators Association in an effort to establish ethics
and legitimacy in our field. It's our goal that when
you choose a member of the MPIA, you will have chosen an
investigator who is committed to providing the highest level
of service in a professional and ethical manner.

If you are
working as a private investigator in
Mississippi and you want to belong to an
organization that promotes ethics,
training, and works to improve the
profession of investigations, then you
need to join the Mississippi
Professional Investigators Association.
Take a look at
the information provided about why you

MOVING FOWARD |
|
Have you been
holding off joining the MPIA until you
could see what was going to happen
during the restructure? Well, now
is the time. The MPIA held
elections, June 18 and elected a new
slate of officers, abolishing the
position of "public relations officer".
Building on the catalyst for growth that
has developed in the last few months,
we're moving forward.
ARE YOU A
FORMER MEMBER?
If you were a member of the
MPIA in the days before the change, we
invite you to rejoin for FREE until
December 2011. That's right, if
you were ever an MPIA member, we want to
make sure that you get something for
your investment and we want to include
you in the exciting things that are
happening now.
Complete your
membership application and tell us that
you were a former member and after we
verify that, we will present your name
to the membership committee for
inclusion as a member until December
2011.

A WORD FROM OUR PRESIDENT |
|
I would like
to take this opportunity to welcome you
to the Mississippi Professional
Investigators Association (MPIA) web
site. The MPIA was originally formed
with the goal of promoting and
maintaining the highest ethical
practices of our membership. We strive
to promote honesty, professionalism, and
ethics within our industry and
membership. When you choose a member of
the MPIA for your investigative needs
you are choosing a professional in their
field who agrees to adhere to our code
of ethics.
On behalf of
the officers and members of the MPIA, I
thank you for your interest in our
association and sincerely hope that you
are successful in all of your life’s
goals. Mississippi Private Investigators
enjoy many benefits through their
membership in our association and we
hope that you will join with us to bring
about a new direction.
Please be
patient with us as we construct our
website over the next few days and
weeks. Within a few days, we will
have an official post office box for the
Association, but the Membership
application that is posted has a current
address for you to join and I hope you
will do so.

OFFICIAL YAHOO GROUPS |

Two new Yahoo
Groups have been formed to serve our needs.
The public group to the left is open to anyone
that would like to subscribe and will be
used to promote our association.
Members will be placed on an internal group
that is private to members only. These
are the only groups associated with the MPIA. |
